M675 – Grinding machine for rotary tools

The M675 is a grinding machine of highest precision with 6 axes for grinding of different rotary tools.

The grinding spindle is equipped with an HSK32 mount. The grinding wheel flange can be easily dismounted to remove the grinding wheels.

For machining, the workpiece tip is moved to the center of rotation. The grinding wheels are moved interpolating over the workpiece via a cross slide. The rotary movement takes place on the workpiece itself. In addition, the grinding wheels can be positioned statically above the workpiece, while the workpiece can be moved via an additional longitudinal axis. For example, for a support in a guide bushing during flute grinding.

Depending on the application, the counter support can move with the workpiece, that means on the additional longitudinal axis, or be mounted statically. There are several support options such as split lunette, half shell and guide bush.

The machine is equipped with a robot cell with palletizing. The interface between the machining area and the robot operates via an automatic door.
