Thread and worm grinding machine M663
The gear hobbing and worm milling machine Koepfer MZ130 is newly equipped with a driven workpiece spindle with speeds up to 1500 r.p.m. Workpieces with a low number of teeth or from materials such as aluminium, brass etc. can now be manufactured more efficiently.
The fine pitch gear hobbing machine W1000micro is a further development of the type W100. The new machine concept with different automatic loading units offers in every respect an optimum solution in the range of fine pitch gears.
W90 CNC with 5 axis
The new development, an extension of the machine W90 for spur gears, is equipped with an electronic gear box between tool spindle and workpiece spindle. An additional feature is that taper and crowning can be integrated in the gear.
The M663 of Monnier + Zahner Ltd. is a high-precision thread and worm grinding machine, whose design and development is based on the longtime experience in the construction of gear hobbing machines: The ideal machine to grind single parts as well as for serial production. The parts can be loaded automatically by means of a gantry loader. The parts positioning facilitates the automatic positioning of the grinding wheel. The dressing unit allows the form dressing and the dressing of ceramic bonded contour grinding wheels in the diameter range of max. 300mm to min. 250mm. Adjusting and resetting of the machine is very user-friendly by the optimal accessibility and the programming operated by menu system.
These machines have been showed at the EMO 2009 in Milan.
